MICROSURGICAL ANASTOMOSIS SIMULATOR
Quote:
The MicroChirSim is the first microsurgical anastomosis simulator to allow the learning of such a precise gesture.
Watering with syringes (not supplied) will allow to check the tightness of the anastomosis. The support allows the reception of any water/false blood leaks (available on our site).

The MicroChirSim is the first microsurgical anastomosis simulator to allow the learning of a gesture of such precision.
Designed as a narrow path thanks to its oblong-shaped ancillary, this simulator can suture a vessel with a diameter of between 0.6 and 1mm in a space that can be drowned (in order to reproduce the watery medium in which anastomoses of this type are usually practiced). In this, it will offer, to beginners as well as experts, an exercise of great educational interest.
The arrangement of the ancillary allows the vessels to be positioned in ways to work on a termino-terminal, termino-lateral anastomosis.
The microChirSim's ease of use, transport and storage will facilitate the logistical and economic aspects of training, making MicroChirSim an extremely reliable training and evaluation tool.
Developed in collaboration with Professor Philippe Liverneaux of the CHRU in Strasbourg and his team.
